Special Snack Jar Makeover

I have SO many projects in the works that need to be sanded and painted. (I do the majority of sanding and painting on my deck--the kids are in the sandbox, I can craft and watch them) Last week was really nice and I got started on most of them, but this is what we woke up to yesterday! ARE YOU KIDDING?! SNOW! In the middle of MAY! I have crafting to do! So here is another project that I have been putting off and could work on while it was snowing :( At least I haven't put my tomatoes out yet!

On our kitchen counter we have a Special Snack Jar... I found this oversized glass jar at Walmart years ago, they might still carry something like this, but it really has been years.
Anyways, when I bought it I had every intention of doing something with it, but I never got around to it. Finally, I did something. I added some vinyl lettering I cut using my Cricut and Sure Cuts A Lot. We call this the Special Snack Jar because it doesn't always have cookies in it, sometimes there are apples, sometimes crackers, sometimes granola bars, sometimes popcorn.....

If you aren't able to cut your own vinyl there are TONS of people who will cut vinyl for you or you could easily mod-podge as well.... Hope you have a wonderful day! I'm linking up HERE. and HERE

Quick Mother's Day Gift Idea & FREE Printable

I needed a quick (and not too expensive) Mother's Day Gift Idea for the Young Women that I teach at church. As a presidency we came up with this idea of a personalized memo pad, after searching online and not being able to find exactly what we were looking for, I designed the following. Please feel free to use them for gifts for your own Mom or Grandmothers, please don't sell items you make, and if you blog about it please link back to this blog post, Enjoy!

What you need:
A magnetic photo sleeve (2 pack from Walmart $1.96)
Post-it Notes
4x6 Printable

Simply print the 4x6 either at home or at your favorite photo place, slip it into the magnetic sleeve, pull the back off your sticky notes and stick it on. We will be attaching a personal thank you from each of the girls. Now mom will be reminded how much she is loved everytime she makes a note.
Happy Mother's Day!
[So, I'm new to actually making printables to share (Hopefully, this is the beginning of something wonderful), just click on the image you would like, then right click and Save Image As to save it to your computer.]
